Terms and Conditions

All orders that you place with Helen Scott Design will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Helen Scott Design reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.

Designs

All of our wedding stationery, artwork and designs are the copyright of Helen Scott Design. You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use any material (for example poems, hymns and photography) that you ask us to include in your wedding stationery.

Advertising
Helen Scott Design reserves the right to feature your stationery and descriptions of it on promotional material and website, but will never disclose your personal details or wedding details to third parties for marketing.

 

Timescale
Once a design has been approved, please allow up to 3 to 4 weeks for printers turn around, assembly and delivery to you. I will keep you updated on the process of print and courier collection dates. Please bear in mind this turnaround when placing your order.

Custom Design Service
Helen Scott Design owns the rights to any bespoke design created for you, and has the right to reproduce and add it to our standard range at any time.  Along with the right to use photographic images of your custom stationery design on the website, and use it any form of advertising and promotional material.

Proofs
Pdf proof are sent via email unless specifically requested otherwise, using the wording and layout agreed in your order. Please note that you are responsible for checking wording, spellings and grammar.

Helen Scott Design cannot be held responsible with and errors in wording you have supplied. Please check wording ensuring it is free from spelling and grammatical errors and all names and dates are correct.

Colour Accuracy
Colours shown within the designs on this website, and on emailed proofs may vary slightly from the colours of the final printed product. This is because colours displayed on screen and in print are slightly different.

Approval
Once you have approved the pdf proofs, you sign and return an approval form to confirm that you are happy with all elements of the proof and are happy for the order to be printed.

Cancellation and Returns
You may cancel your order up to 7 days after placing the deposit which will result in a full refund. Cancellations after 7 days, will be charged at 50% of the total value of the order. However once you have approved your digital proof and the print production process has started, you cannot cancel your order.

Please note we cannot offer free re-prints due to customer errors, for example typographical errors. When your final proof is approved and signed off by you for print, you accept responsibility for any errors. If mistakes are discovered after final proof approval which has been processed for print, you will be responsible for all reprinting and reshipping costs.

In the unlikely event your wedding stationery is deemed to be faulty on the part of Helen Scott Design, please contact us within 7 days. We will be happy to correct or replace your stationery.

Payment
Payments for all services or items can be made by the following methods:

  • Paypal
  • Bank Transfer (BACS)

Delivery
Orders will be sent via a Courier or Royal Mail. You the customer are responsible for providing accurate postal information and we cannot accept responsibility for the loss of orders if you fail to provide the correct address on the order form. Any orders returned to us due to refusal of signature/collection will require a further delivery charge before orders are resent.
